Please sign up by February 15th. Registration (through Westonka Community Ed - www.westonkace.org) continues after this date for a few more weeks, but teams are getting full and there may not be room on some teams for your child.  If we are unable to place your child on a team we will let you know.

Congrats!  Westonka Soccer Winter Kickoff a Great Success!!!

A free winter soccer event and skills clinc was held at Grandview Middle School on January 30th from noon-4:00 PM

Over 80 kids attended with ages ranging from 6 to 15.  Everyone had a great time burning off some energy in the gym while getting fired up for the coming season.

A huge thank you goes out to all the kids who attended, the club members who volunteered to make it happen, and to our coaches from the University of Minnesota Mens PDT Soccer team.   These college kids were an invaluable help. The best part is they want to come help us again at a future event!  Now that is something to look forward to!

Coaches Needed - Training Provided!!!

Westonka Soccer Club needs volunteer parent coaches for the upcoming season.  We have several experienced, certified coaches returning for the Spring/Summer 2010 season, but we anticipate a large increase in participation this year and need more coaches to cover all our teams.

If you are interested, please contact the club president at president@westonkasoccerclub.org

New for Spring 2010:  Coach Training!!

WSC will be hosting at least one "Y" (Youth) Level (or equivalent) training class prior to the start of the 2010 Spring season.  This 4 hour class held in Mound will allow parents and volunteers to get aquainted with coaching soccer and prepare them to hit the ground running as a certified coach.  If you volunteer as a coach, the entire Westonka Soccer Club will be committed to you as one of the most valuable members of our soccer family.  We will do everything in our power to make your experience coaching kids in our community as rewarding and fun as possible!
