Spring 2010 Registration Details:

We are proud to announce that through great fundraising and cost reductions we are able to offer soccer at an exceptional value for 2010.

Westonka Soccer Club (WSC) provides a premier traveling soccer experience in the West Metro. Our focus is on providing an environment where players can develop both their skill and technique, as well as team skills and sportsmanship. Our teams play competitive soccer at various youth age levels against teams from across the twin cities, primarily the West Metro.   Teams will be formed after the registration process is complete. Practices begin indoors in March with league games from May through July. Typically, two to three practices are held each week with games being played once or twice per week (less for younger kids).

WSC is a member of the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) and we are run in cooperation with Westonka Community Education.

Volunteer Coaching Philosophy
WSC prides itself on being an essentially all volunteer organization. We only pay for coaching if absolutely necessary as paid coaching dramatically increases the cost of playing soccer. We have several experienced and dedicated volunteers who enjoy teaching your kids soccer, but we need more. PLEASE help us to keep the club affordable for all, volunteer to be a coach or coach’s assistant. We will provide the training and support you will need to succeed. Our goal is have all coaches hold at minimum of a “Y” Coaching License from MYSA. E-mail us today at president@westonkasoccerclub.org

Club Volunteer Support
There is an expectation that every family volunteer in some way (coaching, team manager/co-manager, board member, pictures organizer, fund raising support, drivers, etc). At a minimum, every family is expected to be involved in our annual Soccer Blitz fundraising event in early May. E-mail us today at president@westonkasoccerclub.org to let us know what you can do to help the kids have a great season!
